Building U.S.-Indonesia Mutual Understanding Since 1994

WHAT WE DO

Enhancing Educational Exchanges

Education is a top priority under the U.S.-Indonesia Strategic Partnership, agreed to by both nations in 2015.

Young people are undoubtedly tomorrow’s leaders and thus, the development of focused, vocational and substantive educational opportunities to both U.S. and Indonesia citizens will influence future political, legislative, and socio-economic participation of both countries.

The Society has a long history of promoting education and cultural exchanges between the United States and Indonesia. The USINDO Summer Studies program in Indonesian language and culture has been ongoing since 1995, and the Society also awards fellowships for PhDs and Master’s degrees for young diplomats.

Knowing the paramount importance of education and USINDO’s track record, we are always trying to search and employ promising young community leaders and scholars to join our array of cultural and educational programs below;
