RESOURCES FOR INDONESIAN UNIVERSITIES

Hosting: English Language Fellows
Details: English Language Fellows hold graduate degrees with a focus on TEFL/TESL and generally serve for a 10-month term as English language professionals. The Indonesian program has generally placed fellows as university lecturers. ELFs are funded by the US Department of State and therefore are not paid by their host universities.

Hosting: Fulbright Senior Specialist
Details: This program places US faculty or professionals at Indonesian universities for 2 to 6 weeks. Please note that host institutions are required to provide housing, meal expenses, and local transportation for the specialist.

RELO (Regional English Language Offices)
Details: The Regional English Language Office sponsors a variety of activities and services and offers assistance and support to English as a Foreign Language (EFL) professionals in Indonesia.

Hosting: Global UGRAD
Details: Universities are selected through application process based on ability to provide tuition assistance, offer strong international student support services, and accommodate selected students’ fields of study.

Hosting: Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows
Details: Universities are selected through an application process to participate as a host university for five years. Selection is based on the institution’s ability to develop specialized non-degree, interdisciplinary programs for a diverse group of seven to twelve international Fellows. Application deadline is September 30, annually.

ASIANetwork Consortium of Liberal Arts Colleges to Promote Asian Studies
Details: ASIANetwork is a consortium of over 170 colleges working together to promote Asian studies to undergraduates

 

Cornell Faculty Associates in Research (FAR)
Details: In an effort to forge collaborative relationships with SEA specialists at educational institutions throughout the region, Cornell invites area scholars to join the Faculty Associates in Research (FAR) Program to gain access to their lending library and notice on lectures.

RESOURCES FOR INDONESIAN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Hosting: Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA)
Details: The Fulbright ETA program places a native English speaker with a US university S1 or S2 degree in Indonesian high schools for 10 months. The institution application form is at the bottom of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship website.
