USINDO-AmCham U.S. Indonesia Bilateral Security Relationship

On Monday, August 7, 2017, USINDO and AmCham Indonesia held a Special Open Forum featuring one of the most influential figures in the U.S. defense community, Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr., Commander of the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM). The event was held in Mercantile Club from 3.00 - 4.00 PM.

USPACOM is one of nine Unified Combatant Commands of the United States Armed Forces and is responsible for the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr. elaborated on the role of the U.S. Pacific Command in the Asia-Pacific, the regional challenges currently being faced in the region, and the opportunities for U.S. – Indonesia security relations.
