Building U.S.-Indonesia Mutual Understanding Since 1994

Introducing the USINDO 2025 Summer Studies Fellows

Dear USINDO Community,

We are proud to introduce the outstanding 2025 USINDO Summer Studies Fellows. This year’s cohort features eight remarkable students from across the United States, each selected for their academic excellence, leadership, and strong commitment to advancing mutual understanding between the United States and Indonesia.

Since 1996, with generous support from the Freeman Foundation and USINDO, the Summer Studies Program has provided a transformative cross-cultural experience. With over 260 alumni nationwide, our growing network continues to play a vital role in strengthening U.S.-Indonesia ties across sectors.

Chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, these eight fellows represent a wide range of academic backgrounds and personal experiences. This summer, they will engage deeply with Indonesian culture, language, and society through immersive programming in Yogyakarta and Jakarta.

Congratulations and good luck to the 2025 USINDO Summer Studies Fellows! We look forward to your summer filled with culture and discovery. Follow their journey on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X accounts!
