Video of Special Open Forum on “New Frontiers in Indonesian Development”, with Governor Ridwan Kamil

Home to 60% of Indonesia’s manufacturing activity, West Java is increasingly moving towards the process of transitioning towards high-tech industries including renewable energy, chemicals, electric vehicles (EVs), food processing and digital-based enterprises. In turn, the tourism, medical and education sectors have experienced several significant changes.

USINDO hosted a Special Open Forum to discuss the innovations in economic development in West Java, featuring Special Guest, Ridwan Kamil, Governor of West Java to discuss his insights into the innovations in economic development occurring in the region and how it is an example for Indonesian development. This Special Open Forum was held in-person in Washington DC, on Friday, May 5, 2023.
