”  I came to Indonesia this year with around 100 WA contacts and I’m leaving with over 300. I have met so many incredible new friends, thinkers, and family members. I plan to maintain contact with my closest friends through social media and WA because I simply cannot live happily without these relationships. Additionally, I have already started drafting a new research proposal for an AMINEF/Fulbright research grant in order to produce meaningful new knowledge for both countries while simultaneously furthering academic collaborations and relations between the US and Indonesia. I have even started researching potential S2 programs in Indonesia that could meet my career goals while allowing me to continue my engagement with Indonesia in-country.”
